Reaches towards insanity, it's already there. Wow! Does anyone think that the eventual winner will actually follow through on paying for the card?

June 8th announced as his MLB debut against the Pirates. I am assuming you are there Andrew. Anyone else going? It's sold out.

The highlight of that June 8th game is not Strasburg's debut, but Lastings Milledge's return to DC

LOL. Milledge looked absolutely terrified on his first at bat vs Strasburg

I was lucky enough to get to the game last night. Strasburg was amazing. He fell behind a number of hitters in the first and second but then he really buckled down and struck out (I think) six in a row. The mix of his fastball (98-101mph) change (78-81mph) and a curve that is unhittable, when he locates it well, had the Pirates off balance all night. He finished the game striking out eight of the last ten and struck out the side on eleven pitches.

It is the Pirates so I certainly do not expect the same results every time out but there is no doubt he is the real deal. Regardless of the hype, for a MLB debut it was great. Below is a pic of the first pitch- not the best quality as I took it with my cell phone.

Did the Nats Park gun show 78-81 on the change? I've heard from multiple sources inc MLB broadcast that it was around 90 (which is obviously quick but still a change of pace).
