Anyone notice this on a certain auction on mlb???? Why would the guy's agent be bidding on his gamers????? Very strange!

A few possible reasons:

1. He has a waiting list of people looking to buy gamers and he is planning on buying it and reselling it. Some would say well why wouldn't those people just bid on it on MLB.com? And the answer is some collectors do not keep up with the league auctions. 2. He is not bidding to win but to drive up the price. It is bad for his business if gamers go at auction for alot less than he sells them for. Last year the Brewers auctioned several off on MLB.

He doesn't get it for free. He like all other companies pays the athlete to obtain the items and only a certain amount are made available to him. Obviously Ryan does not sell him every bat he uses. Since Ryan is a very popular player it is very possible that he sells them as fast as he can get them and is just looking for more. Or maybe he thought he could get it cheaper than he pays Ryan for it. Or it could just be to drive up the price to protect the prices of the items he sells.

Also if you notice he tends to not have much high end Braun stuff. Mostly hats and batting gloves. On Ebay he used to sell bats gu by random minor leaguers with Ryan's signature. On his site no gu bats are currently available. Which leads me to believe Ryan is stingy with selling him his higher end stuff like bats and jerseys.

He probably just does not care. Look how many people win stuff on there and with the same id shortly thereafter try to sell it for more money on Ebay.
