Hey, that ball is the next best thing you can get. You know he got to keep his first strikeout ball. So the next one available is his second career strikeout. If I was a fan and very wealthy, I would get it. There won't be another. And the detail looks great!

I wish they gave the hologram number because when i first read the listing i only thought it was a pitch used during the at-bat. But in reading it again i guess it does says it's his second strikeout ball.

P.S. For the amount this ball is up to you could buy some game used item dealing with Babe Ruth, like maybe one of his home-run balls or spend alittle more and buy a bat(will only go up in price and not down like the Strasburg ball).

Re: MLB Authenticators for Strasburg's 1st game

It is a sucker's buy if he turns into Prior, Clyde, Wood, Gooden, etc. that is money in the trash and no matter how wealthy one is they won't stay that way for long if they keep making such purchases. The MLB hype machine is working overtime here but all he has done is beat the Pirates and Indians and many Triple A teams could probably do that. Plus when a pitcher and batter have not faced each other before the edge goes to the pitcher signifcantly. Lets see how he looks after he faces the Phillies on the road for the first time and goes through the league a few times. The road to greatness in baseball is very long and 99.9% of all players fall off it at one point or another especially for pitchers who are at a high injury risk and captive to the team around them and rely on it for defense and providing them with runs.

The game used 2nd K ball went for $20,010.00. Debut Lineup card: $3,010.
Auto'd non-GU baseball: $805 (this is the biggest surprise to me)
