I won it in a silent auction today at Turner Field. I was the only bidder, and got it for the opening price of $450

Nice item! I took a quick glance at some of the MLB authenticated numbers near this one & appears the Braves had several of the game used jerseys authenticated from their 6/28 5-0 win over the Washington Nats when Strasburg pitched. I wonder if this will be a trend w/ other teams as well--when Strasburg pitches, authenticate as much as possible for sale later. Jay.

I disagree.

For $450, I would hold onto it unless I received an unreal offer. There are many non HOFers whose GU jersey value far exceeds $450.

The average fan who attends a Major League has no idea what the value of game used memorabilia is.....I'm sure the majority of the people who did happen to see it thought $450 was ridiculous....
