When did Marucci start putting dates on their knobs?

Does anyone know when they started. I saw this Pujols bat on ebay and it merely has a "5" on the knob. No date or weight info, length...

What are your feelings about the bat?

Scroll down a bit and you'll find a thread regarding this bat: http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_f...ad.php?t=36407

As far as I know, Marucci has always stamped the manufacture date, length and weight into the knobs of bats meant for professional use. They made some souvenir models for Pujols (last year?) that did not have these characteristics, just the 5.

Here's an unusual exception. A David Wright bat with a "T" where the date stamp would normally be. The explanation from Marucci was that when they first started making bats for him, he used a Carlos Beltran model. Over time they began to thicken the handle. At one point, he had a DW5 and DW5(T) with the "T" indicating a thicker handle.
