    Year of the bizarre injury!

As if Kendry Morales breaking his leg while jumping on home plate after hitting a walk-off home run wasn't bad enough...

Marlins outfielder Chris Coghlan just tore the meniscus in his knee (will possibly require surgery and be out for 6-8 weeks) by (get this) putting a cream pie in a teammate's face.

And we thought the fact that we have 5 no-hitters (well, technically 6) this season was the big aberration...
    Looking for ...
Any Game Used Mets jerseys from 1986 and 1987
Any Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling, Lee Mazzilli and John Olerud Mets items

No injury is amazing to me as Andy Marte's: He had an ingrown hair on his stomach get infected, and it was so bad he needed surgery and was put on the DL!!

Somewhere, Butkus and Bednarik are having a beer and a laugh over that one.
