Here is perhaps the coolest. MLB holo'd and auto'd on the last home game. Worn the entire season at home games.

Re: Lets See Your Ivan 'pudge' Rodriguez Bats

Here are some items from Pudge's time in Houston.

                2009 Road Grey Jersey
The jersey was the one issued and worn by Pudge following his record setting 2,227 Games Caught on 6/17/2009. The Road Grey jersey he wore that night was collected and donated to the HOF. This Road Grey was made as a replacement and worn until he changed from #12 to #77.

                (2) 2009 LVS Bats
The two tone brown bat is dated 3/20/2009 on the knob. This was the same date that Pudge was signed by the Astros as a free agent. This bat was from the first batch with "HOUSTON ASTROS" on the barrel.

The two tone black maple bat is dated 5/8/2009. The bat was cracked 7/28/2009 versus the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

                2009 Catcher and Batting Helmets
This is catcher's helmet used by Pudge prior to the switch to #77

The batting helmet was used by Pudge to hit his 300th Home Run in Chicago on 5/17/2009.

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, obviously his stint here in Houston was short so you will never see a lot of his Astros items. I saw a lot of Pudge bats used by other guys in 2009, especially Tejada. Even Berkman and Lee used his maple bats in BP from time to time. I really wonder how many bats he uses compared to how many he orders.

The catcher's helmet is rare too and the fact he hit his 300th HR wearing your helmet is great!

Re: Lets See Your Ivan 'pudge' Rodriguez Bats

I have a bat that is from I believe 1999 because the MLB logo is by the name but it doesn't have ANY pine tar except a little bit about halfway up the bat in one little area. And it doesn't have many ball marks except a few LITTLE scuffs and pudge signed the bat Ivan Rodriguez "game use". So I was wondering what you guys thought. Like did he usually put pine tar on his bats in 1999? And also did his bats from then usually have much use?

                          Was it sourced from ASI?

Its so hard to be able to tell who actually used an older bat...when it comes to Pudge, he's all over the place. I've seen his bats taped (high and low), have pine tar, have tape and tar, have nothing....hes been so inconsistent....

ASI sold a lot of Pudge's bats and gear when he was with the Texas Rangers.

I think ASI was known as Authenticated Sports Investments when they were selling Pudge's items and run by a guy named Scot Monette.
