Tejada Game Used Jersey

I would like the thoughts of an odd situation that I ran across recently. An auction house had a Tejada Game Used Jersey from 2001. The Jersey had the flag on the back but the tag was listed as set 2 from the 2000 season. When I asked them about this they said it was very common for equipment managers to use Jersey's that were not worn during one season and then use them the next. I find it very unlikely that they would have used a Jersey the next year after 9/11 when the flag was put on the Jersey's.

Please let me know your thoughts.

It would be somewhat unusual, but not at all impossible. Stranger things have happened with uniforms/equipment. But I do understand your concern. Does everything else match (Tejada's size, jersey characteristics)?
