National Pickup's - Longoria Helmet, Jersey & 97' Mac Bat

Just got home from the national.

I bought a disgustingly awsome Longoria 2009 GU Batting helmet with MLB authentication sticker from Lelands Auction house. The MLB database says it's from Oct. 4, 2009 , The last game of the 2009 Season. Longoria went yard in the game as well. The helmet is pounded. Would not be surprised if he used this helmet throught the season. The inside cushion is peeling away and tons and tons of scrapes and pine tar all over.









I also got a 2009 Game Used Jersey with a few which appear to be dirt stains on it, on the back outer collar and under nearth the left arm put. Wear is light but obvious.








Also picked up probably the most unexpected thing i thought i would see.

A 1997 Game Used CRACKED and POUNDED McGwire Bat,
1997 is one of the hardest years to find for McGwire. I have never seen one. I almost had a heart attack when i saw this. And of course it came home with me. At his next private signing sometime in the next few months i will have this signed. I now have 90,96,97,98 & 01.

Fantastic find!!! Where was the McGwire bat at the show? I was there for 2 days and I certainly didn't see it. I would have remembered such a beauty!!

thanks guys. Very pumped about this rarity.

I got it at this guys stand that was positioned about 4 rows in front of the spence table all the way to the right. It was almost positioned across from a restroom entrance. He had a bunch of bats on the table. you would never had seen them from a distance. Also, the lighting near his table was bad. I put the bat up to the light and couldn't really tell how used it was. I didn't find the handle crack until i got home. Then i put the bat up to the light and i screamed. Absolutely floored about this one.
