Buster Posey Game Used Bat on eBay

I have reason to believe that the following Buster Posey was used by someone other than him

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Buster-Posey-Gam...item3f048c83b0

I believe that Giants Minor Leauge First Basemen Brett Pill used this bat at some point due to the presence of the word "Pill" on the knob.

This is a reasonable assumption because they both played together in Fresno this season and this can be verified by looking at their individual Milb.com player profile pages

    Brett Pill:

    Buster Posey:

And the amount of pine tar on the bat is consistent with the application shown in the following pictures:

It looks like your right. Buster may never have used the bat it is common for players to swap bats. Some players like Pujols and Fielder use other players bats alot.

I'd take note that it looks like somebody tried to take the word Pill off of the bat. Sketchy.

    Dear rdeversole,

I researched this and I now agree that Brett Pill was likely the last
user of this bat, however, I can not say that this means Buster
didn't use it, because he may have just given it to him after he
decided he didn't like the balance of it or whatever. The bat
obviously belonged to Buster as it has his name engraved into it
but I will change the description to reflect that Brett Pill probably
used this bat either after or in place of Buster.
