Game Used in Pittsburgh

Just wondering if there are any means of purchasing any game used items at PNC Park, any help is appreciated.

LASTINGS-I was last in pittsburgh for a pirates series in 2005.Now i was not really into game used items.I was into seeing them, just never thought of collecting them.But i am into autographs and things like that.So i looked and saw no game used items at the pro shops at pnc park.But there was a great store that used to be downtown called "sports world specialists".I bought my pair of 3 rivers game used seats from them there.Also there are a couple of great sports stores in station square.

I was there less than a month ago & saw bats ($75-300), bases (150-300), jerseys (150-up) & lineup cards (can't remember prices)..they have a very limited selection, but there are a few things for sale. I came home empty-handed. Jay

I live near pgh... pietraynor, are you talking about the same store as joebathenut? I'd be interested in checking out local stores and I'd gladly help anyone out looking for things. I don't believe that there is a team store at the PNC park, as far as I can remember.

I was posting about items that were available at PNC Park..the club has had gamers for the past 3-4yrs at the store..I've never been able to get to any sports stores downtown, but have heard there's a nice one (maybe the one mentioned)..don't recall seeing any Milledge game-used equipment. Jay.

I make the short trip from Cleveland to PNC several times a summer. It's too great of a ballpark with too good of prices not too. In the main team shop they do have a special room or section for game used items. It's usually kind of limited and in my opinion the prices are on the higher end for what they have to offer. I'm just assuming that any "name" players items go quickly. I've asked to talk to the person who handles the game used items and the pretty much get the blow off each time. They said all that's available is what's out. They don't take requests, won't look to see if anything else is available, won't notify you should something come available and didn't want to ship items. I was looking for McCutchen and Tabata items but have never seen anything. One would think they would work harder to market the team and it's young players that anyone may show an interest in since they haven't exactly been a winning machine the last few years .

I was in Pitt in Jume. The team store is behind the Left Field stands. If you are outside the stadium, The Willie Stargell statue is right outside the door to the team store. I did a quick look and did not see any GU stuff, but then it was just a quick look so I coild have missed the GU area that the other poster noticed

It's in a small section, kind of underneath the steps leading to the second floor of the store. It used to be on the second floor, I had to ask them where they moved it to.
