    Schulte Auctions Game Used Items

There is a Frank Robinson game used bat on SchulteAuctions.com. Does the fact that the signature is upside down and the bat shows little us affect the value? $799 seems pretty cheap.

Post a pic. A lack of use makes an item less desirable to many collectors. Little use may also indicate that the bat was not actually used. So described what you mean by little use and that is why the pic would help. The signature upside also lowers the value because it makes the bat less visibly appealing but autographs can be removed so that is not the worst thing in world. The main concern is whether it was really used. That price is a steal if it was which makes me believe it probably wasn't you know the expression if it seems to good it probably is it likely applies here.

Note that $799 was the opening bid (auction ends 8/31/10), which leads one to believe that the auction house is placing a final auction value of $2500 to $3000 on this bat. There is a PSA LOA included wherein John Taube authenticates the bat and describes the use.
