Dave Winfield GU/signed yankees Bat

Hickory brown Dave Winfield game used bat, W277. Perfectly matches LV records according to the Malta book at 35.5" and 34 oz. Dates to 1984, right when "Mr. May" was in a streak of winning Gold Gloves, Silver Sluggers, and All-Star berths.

Excellent use with ball scuffs, seam dimples, and almost an ink transfer. Bat is cracked and expertly repaired, you can't feel it, but can see it if you look closely. Some globby pine tar that blends in with the handle. Nothing written on the knob, which is chipped (it almost doesn't seem like a chip, just like there was never wood there.) Signed hugely on the back in some sort of white paint pen.

Sorry the scans don't show well, these brown bats are hard to take photos of.

There is no paperwork, I bought it from Hunt Auctions a while back. I guarantee it for life to pass inspection from Taube, Bushing, Malta, or what's-his-name. Oh, yeah, Mike Specht.
