    Maravich warm-up on eBay

This warm-up ended today on eBay and sold for $199. I didn't pull the trigger and thought it would surely go for more. Never seen this style, but my gut says it's real. Seller is a thrifter and I do not believe they were trying to pull a fast one. Has anyone seen this style? I think it's a relic. As Florida Evans would say: "Damn, Damn, Damn".

The Lampman would say: "with Mardi Gras sleeves to die for".

Warren, don't take this personal but whoever the Buyer was/is, I say good for them. eBay has it's problems but every now and again, some very nice items do show up.

I absolutely do not take it personally. I feel the exact same way. I had my chance to buy and didn't lay down any funds. I really hope a collector bought this for his collection. It most likely will show up at an auction house.
I'd like to see a photo of any player wearing this style. A "photo-reference" would guarantee a $5000 auction price.

I found this ugly Jazz warmup picture. So no doubt it could be an ugly 70s warmup.

I don't know if my link was re-directed for you but it was listed under fan apparel<NBA basketball. The listing wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't hidden.

It did have three bids. I also found it. I'm sure many questioned the authenticity and thought it was too good to be true.

The warmup is being auctioned off by Mears & already is up to $1,465. lol

Although unsuccessful in our attempts to find an exact photo match, what the above did provide us was style matches of Jackets worn by the Jazz from 1975-78. This did not match any of those styles.

So basically, they're confident that Sand-Knit made the jersey, but they have no proof it's a gamer rather than simply a prototype warm up.
