Final bid was $1007 on this bat. I noticed in the bid history that one bidder (not the high bidder) had two bids of exactly the same amoung ($898.00). How is this possible? Just curious if anyone gets this.

Hi Reid,
My feeling on this is that more than likely that bidder increased his maximum bid while he was the high bidder.
Therefore, if his current max was $900 at 2 pm and the bat was then priced at $898 he (or she) may have felt they didn't have enough space between the max and the current price so maybe they upped their max bid to $975 (or some such figure).
The current auction price would have stayed at $898 as no other bidder increased the amount with another bid. I think that is how that works. I've seen that happen when I've upped my max bid before and I have also seen it in auctions I have run myself.
