Thoughts on this Jeter Bat
I saw this Jeter bat on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Has Jeters Bats gone down in price? This seemed like a great price? I picked the bat up for $1,750. Is that a good price?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Thoughts on this Jeter Bat
I thought the mota and rosin application was a little off. On most heavier used Jeter bats the mota and rosin pattern continue up towards the center brand at a even application. From the pictures it looks like the rosin stops mid handle. Not to say it's not a legit Jeter. But at that price it was worth the a shot!

Re: Thoughts on this Jeter Bat
I think all bat prices have dropped and i think they will only go down in the future. The bat itself looks good, if the sig is over some use then you know its legit. Ive always thought a sig over use is as good as the player telling you to your face "this is my bat"

Perhaps because it didn't come from Steiner or have any authentication hologram (Steiner or MLB) it didn't get the usual premium?
