Looking For Hanley Ramirez Photomatch $$
Just got a 2009 Hanley LS on ebay. I'll pay $5 for a photomatch. Also, it looks to me like the blue writing is 30.5 (weight). Has anyone ever seen Hanley write the weight on his bats?

The weight is written by lvs not the player, the blue is a dead giveaway

also, i dont think you will incise anyone with a $5 photomatch offer. Most will help you out for free, valuing the time spent looking through hundreds of photos at $5 is insulting, you where better off saying any help was appreciated. IMO

What do you mean by a dead giveaway on the blue writing? If people feel insulted by the $5, I'd be happy to take a photomatch for free instead. Which ever you prefer.

Do you have better pics from the LVS label up the barrel?

Brian at BMH (Louisville Slugger) can confirm that they write the weight on some but not all bats in blue

I just bought the bat on ebay about 20 minutes ago so that's all I have right now. If you can help, I'll take some more pics as soon as I get it. Thanks!

Good to know yanks. So I was worried that it might have been used by someone other than Hanley (who would have written that), but I'm guessing now that's not the case.

Tape on the knob is a Hanley characteristic. So is a good amount of pine tar. Both are reasons why I passed on this bat.

Re: Looking For Hanley Ramirez Photomatch $$
Ya I know, but I've seen pics of him using bats without tape and it has a little tar by the logo, so I'm thinking he might have used it a little. Also, I only payed $100 for it which I thought was a great deal for one of the best players in baseball.
