Are there any GU items that you thought you would have by now .... but don't?
Re: Are there any GU items that you thought you would have by now .... but don't?
I thought I would have a Marvin Benard Giants or Keith Foulke Red Sox by now.
I collect items from baseball players that attended Lewis-Clark State College: Marvin Benard, Vic Darensbourg, Steve Decker, Tom Edens, Jason Ellison, Anthony Ferrari, Carlos Fisher, John Foster, Keith Foulke, Sean Halton, Blaine Hardy, Bucky Jacobsen, Chris Mabeus, Steve Reed, Brendan Ryan, Chris Schwinden, and Frank Williams. http://www.lcscbaseballhof.com

Should be an easy find as there always seems to be a few on ebay, quick glance had 2 of them on there right now. Stay patient on them, as prices have really fallen.

Well, its an old story but I can't seem to understand why finding a Dave Mlicki Mets jersey is so difficult. I found a Van Slyke,'86 WS jersey, even two Swoboda(albeit old timers game and spring training),so why does a daily search of a Mlicki(Mets)for years produce nothing?Anyway, that's my sad story.

Here is my response....
Hi Neal,
I remember seeing his bat somewhere. I could not find it again.
Bake was pretty rude to me as a kid after a game in 1978 or 79. I asked him for a autograph outside of Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater, FL and he ignored me. I was 12 or 13.
So when I saw the bat, the memory flashed before me. There is a game used hat of his on ebay now.
Good luck....
Thank you,
David

After years of collecting the 1964 Cardinals, I'm surprised I haven't been able to acquire a Bob Uecker bat yet. Also surprised a Cardinals "Turn Ahead the Clock" jersey hasn't surfaced.

A Dallas Clark Indianapolis Colts Game Used Jersey. I saw one a long time ago for $400.00, but was mainly into card collecting at that point so I passed.

Not a huge expensive item... but a Johnny Cueto bat has been one I thought I would have in my collection by now. Missed out on a few, but it's day will come.
