Opinions about My Mo Vaughn tbtc jersey
I have owned 2 other jerseys like this an Ordonez and a Weathers. From looking at the photos on Getty the 4 and 2 seem to be a dead on match. I am being told this is a retail jersey but I have never seen a retail authentic with this tagging. Am I blind and the jersey is not a photomatch..Opinions

Just based on past experience with jerseys from Rawlings, Russell, and Majestic (someone correct me if I am wrong) it has always been the rule that when jerseys are SIZED (Not S, M, L, XL, XXL) such as 40, 42, 44, etc. the pattern is that ALL Sizes from 36 (smallest I've ever seen) to 60 (58 is largest I have seen) are available to the clubs meaning they can get:
36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60
That said, the ONLY sizes available at RETAIL are:
36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60
That is why I BOLDED the 'in-between' sizes above - they are ONLY available to the clubs, so a SZ 54 as your jersey is tagged should have come from the club and NOT a retail environment.
A 'caveat' to this though is that the BS Knock Off Jerseys from China are tagged with any size you want (including the 'Club' sizes) BUT, they are not correct. I wear a SZ 50 and the few cheapies I have had fit more like a 44 or 46!!!

Re: Opinions about My Mo Vaughn tbtc jersey
For your reference the date was July 15th not the 16th
As far as the jersey is concerned Henderson's guide has 2 pictures of the TBTC jerseys. No close-up pics of the tag but from a distance both tags look like they have a red Rawlings script not black.
I was actually thinking of buying it per your email but passed for this reason.

Re: Opinions about My Mo Vaughn tbtc jersey
No mlb hologram but I owned a Weathers and Ordonez the Ordonez had use neither had a mlb hologram. What are the chances that the front numbers seem to be an exact match as the photos on getty. The tagging in the neck is consistent with the other 2 I owned. I did notice the script though which is odd. Possible manufactures defect? July 15th getty had it as the 16th not that they are that reliable. Even has the score and Vaughn hiting a home run.

Re: Opinions about My Mo Vaughn tbtc jersey
notice the difference in the neck tag Rawlings color.
I also find it weird that the Weathers shows more wear than the Vaughn when Weathers is a pitcher.
