bad Bushing jersey
there are 2 problems with this jersey.
1) the numbers on the front are substantially larger than they should be
2) the numbers are not aligned the way they should be. in 1988 the reds,
sewed the numbers on such that the end of the numbers would
line up with the end of the word "Cincinnati" on the front. bushing's
jersey doesn't even come close.
please see my image for proof:

Very nice work. This illustrates why Dave should stick to bats. Keep in mind Dave is authenticating jerseys at MEARSComment

Readers-
I'm happy to inform you that Dan is in great health and quite happy. I spoke with hm last week, and like myself, he is spending more time with his family and less with the hobby.
Good to know some of us have our priorities in order, and more important, Dan is just fine.

Re: is this Dave Bushing's auction?
The jersey last came from Bushing. With the jersey being an obvious fake and him being part of MEARS, maybe he should buy the jersey back as per their guarantee.
Now that I see it again in the new photos, the numbers on the front are glaringly wrong. My own personal opinion is that someone acquired a genuine 1988 Reds gamer of a common player and had the name and number changed to the more valuable O'Neill.
