In a time when so much of sports seems to be purely about personal fame and how much money you can make it is really refreshing to see a player put his sports fame to the common good. I was a game five when he hit the home run. This takes some of the sting out of it and if we were going to get beat I'm glad he was the one who hit the deciding home run against us.
