eBay item 200543685069: What is it? It's not the tribe.
What this alleged Bonds cap is is a mystery. It was not worn by Bobby Bonds, as the Indians used a whole different style when he was there. The cap looks like a Cubs C on a Reds cap. The Indians did use red caps with a 2-toned C from 1965-69; however, that was a wishbone C (like the Reds have used for decades), not a round C (a la the Cubs). If a fellow Forum member can post the photos or a link for me, can anyone figure just what team this came from?

I am thinking that this cap is a minor league cap as Roman Pro issued them also back in the late 1970's. I have a factory chart from Roman Pro that shows all cap styles ever issued to Major League teams and this one isn't on there. One thing is certain though......Bobby Bonds NEVER EVER wore a size 7. I have 3 Bonds caps in my collection from various teams and the sizes range from 7 1/4 to 7 5/8, all dependent on the cap maker and Bonds afro style.
