LSU Basketball Jersey - Any Info ?
What year is this jersey from ? did russell make the only court jerseys for LSU at that time ? any other info ?

I considered bidding on this jersey, but could find no evidence that LSU ever wore a style remotely resembling this. I searched through all the media guides from '88 to present, and found one jersey style used during (I think) the '94-95 season, but it was only roughly similar to this one. One thing in particular that was bothersome was the size of the numbers - way too small for any LSU men's jersey. I believe Russell did make jerseys for LSU during the early '90s, as I have a pair of game worn shorts from the '91-92 season with Russell tagging. Champion and possibly DeLong also made jerseys for the team during this time. Sports Belle became the jersey provider for the team in the mid-90s and continued until 2006 or so.
