Gold Glove Award Values
I have been following (and bidding on) the Sandy Alomar Gold Glove up for sale on Grey Flannel. I was a bit surprised at the bidding on it and was wondering what the market is for these as I have not seen many for sale. Anybody seen any others sold that I could use as comparables? Thanks!

Re: Gold Glove Award Values
If I remember correctly, I know someone that had one of Jim Edmonds gold glove awards for sale at one time. I think it was either $3000 or $5000.

Re: Gold Glove Award Values
It depends on the player. Obviously if it is a big name HOFer like a Clemente or Griffey it would probably bring well over 20k. For lesser players for novelty reasons alone I would say at least five grand. These rarely come up and are awesome to display.

This photo doesn't really showcase the award well, but here's a 1961 Silver Glove award, given to a minor leaguer.
It really does look incredible in person.

Here's the link to a Vada Pinson gold glove offered through Hunt Auctions recently. It went for $13K.
