And to think how silly that could have looked if the "Angry" shortstop didn't accept his offer...I'm all for fandom, but that is too far over the fence for me.
I think the truck is unique. You know you won't lose it in any parking lots right?
I don't get people who tattoo players likenesses on themselves. Now I have tattoos and I realize they can be a truly unique story of your life. To me, rooting for a guy you don't know personally is normal, we all have sports heroes and guys we admire and like to cheer for.

My guess is that it would double as a urinal and they would photograph themselves peeing on it. Then the photo would place prominately in that Boston Tavern ,Eerrra.
In the interest of fairness(and this is a Met fan talking),If I homered in my first at bat in the World Series against the Mets (Leiter) and ran into the stands catching a foul ball against Boston, was the best thing they ever had since Ruth ,Joe D.and Mickey, and they treated me like crap(in negotiating a contract),I would retire early ,yes shy of 3,000 and keep my DIGNITY. I would get the Hall of Fame and send a message at the same time.
