the promotion is unique to the White Sox so far. The White Sox have worn spring training green jerseys in the past, but they were BP-styled shirts, not actual game jerseys like the current in-season promotion.
I cannot say this for 100% certainty, but the only year's set that I have seen with tail strip tagging has been the first (2005). The 2006 version had the White Sox 2005 World Champs patch on them.
