Brian McCann Game Used Bat

Hey Members. A few days ago a friend of mine who works for the Phillies was moving and came across some odds and ends that he picked up while working at the stadium. For helping him move he offered me a few game used items which are all Phillies except for this Brian McCann Bat. He said he believes it was from the 2010 season. I am not a big game used bat guy and being a big Phillies fan I really have no use for this bat. I do plan on selling it, however I first wanted to make sure we could could confirm that this bat is consistent with other McCann gamers. If anyone could offer some help I would greatly appreciate. Also, if you collect Braves or McCann items are interested let me know. From looking at it, it looks like it shows some awesome game use.

What date is stamped in the knob??

I tried looking for a date but I don't see any indents or writing on the knob. Just the number 16.

I would be interested in purchasing it pending a possible photomatch.

I am in the beginning stages of photo matching the bat but it's hard to know where to start since I don't know a date. I do know he cracked it while playing in Philadelphia and with all the use to it there has to be a match somewhere.

Awesome! Please let me know what you can come up with. Like I said, this thing is hammered with use so with the right resources there's no doubt we can find a match.

It is from 2008 or earlier. No date stamp on the knob and the M9 label was bigger in 09 and 10.

Thanks for the great information. Now we have a year to go off of. I know it definitely was used against the Phillies.
