McAuliffe tag on undershirt

Hoping one of our McAuliffe experts can help me out here. I just acquired a mostly wool undershirt that was worn by Bob Gibson. The McAuliffe tag is not in the collar or tail, but actually on the placket below the buttons. Is there any way to date the shirt by the tag? I'm assuming it's from the '60s, but would value an expert's opinion. Thanks.

There was an older post here on GUU about a Yogi Berra McAuliffe undershirt, supposedly from the 1950s. It has same type tagging I believe.

Also, Lon Lewis, who is on the site, seems pretty knowledgeable about McAuliffe.

Thanks, Bob. I never saw that Berra post... very cool. Lon actually contacted me via e-mail and let me know the tagging on my shirt started in 1969.
