Jim Thome Jerseyon Craigslist
Here we go again the seller has ANOTHER game used jersey that doesn't come with a set # on it.

This guy tried selling a Konerko jersey once already

Then a Frank Thomas jersey
http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_f...=white+sox+tag
And here we talk a little about the Set #'s Vs Jersey #

I guess anything is possible but I have never seen a White Sox jersey that doesn't have a set # being game used.

Re: Jim Thome Jerseyon Craigslist
Don't know much about newer White Sox Jerseys but I purchased a Frank Thomas Home Sunday sleeveless from 2000 that only has the Year, Size and Player #. Purchased it at a White Sox Charity Auction with their LOA. Jersey also shows very good game use. Don't know just thought I would throw it out there that I have a real one without a Set tag.

Re: Jim Thome Jerseyon Craigslist
I will try to post some pics tomorrow. I have to grab it off the wall at my parents house. I kind of understand mine not having a set tag though as I believe they only wore them a few times that year and probably only had one set. Don't know.
Thanks,
Tyge

Re: Jim Thome Jerseyon Craigslist
Craiglist can be just like any other place to buy game worn stuff asl long as you know what you're doing. I've bought two Sox jerseys on Craiglist and have flipped them both for a nice profit. You just need to always meet the seller in person in a very public place and make it clear you're going to walk away from the transaction if you are not comfortable with it.

Re: Jim Thome Jerseyon Craigslist
Edgar, After reading your post about proper tagging. It got me to thinking about the Thome game used TBTC jersey from the June 25,2009 game against the Dodgers that I purchased from you last April on Ebay. Below the "Authentic Majestic" label is only the size "52" tag and that is it. No other tagging. Was this normal for these one-time 2009 jerseys? I love the jersey and paid alot of money for it and just want some comfort knowing that this is the proper tagging for these particular jerseys. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Jim Thome Jerseyon Craigslist
TBTC jerseys are a whole different animal than normal game jerseys. Your Thome jersey is tagged correctly for that game. I linked a nice photo of Thome in your jersey in case you don't have it.
