I am not an expert. Maybe it is...

However, I don't know how excited I would get about this. The reason is I personally bought a similar model helmet between 2005-06. The seller (then) was very honest, and sold it to me as a manufactured for Griffey; never worn, never issued, but made to his specifications.

I paid a real low price to boot, and ended up actually taking his number #2 off of the back and getting Yuniesky Betancourt, who wore #4 that year, to sign it at an appearance at Mill Creek sports.

I later sold it with additional signatures from Richie Sexson and Edgar Martinez on it as well I got from fan-fest. I advertised it as a replica helmet, not even a Griffey. Just my two cents.

But, thing is, the original seller had like a box of these. Because he kept posting them before and after I bought mine.
