Re: Chipper Jones LS records
Regarding Jonrs' Minor League H & B orders, documented in Chipper's records are approximately 8 orders between 12/23/92 and 6/11/93 that were likely used in the minors at Richmond AAA. Also a few 1994 orders,up until Feb. 1994. Models during those periods included R161 and C243.

Re: Chipper Jones LS records
I obtained a natural finish R161 Jones bat in the 1/13/10 Hunt Internet/Phone Auction (Lot 205) ordered within the time frame referenced by Mike. It's a great looking bat with many, many ball and stitch marks on both sides of barrel. Grain swelling on left side of barrel. Red, blue and black rack marks present. Cleat marks also present. Heavy pine tar on lower 7" of handle. Jones uniform number, 10, in black marker on knob and end of uncupped barrel.

Re: Chipper Jones LS records
Natural Finish model R161 bats from the 1991-97 label period were ordered by Chipper in 1993, 1995, 1996, and 1997. All orders were 35 inches in length except the single bat in 1997 which was 34 inches. According to "Now Batting, Number..." Jones wore uniform number 16 in 1993 and 1994 (inj) with the Braves, and didn't wear uniform number 10 until 1995, which would be consistent with the 1995 and 1996 orders, depending on the length (see above) and the possibility that Jones wore uniform number 10 (??) in Richmond in 1993.
