Has anyone almost damaged a football jersey trying to put it on a mannequin?

I was taking photos of some of my recent jersey pickups and could not get one of my jerseys on over the mannequin torso. It is a small jersey to begin with and I felt I was going to tear the fabric if I would have tried any harder. They make these new jerseys to fit so damn tight on the players, just wondering if others have run into this problem as well.

Full body mannequin or just a torso? Which area?

Just a torso mannequin. I couldn't get one side of the jersey over the shoulder area.

Yes.....indeed I have and more than once!
