Photos of people wearing Game-Used Jerseys
Today, most of us would never dream of wearing an older game-used jersey -- and probably not a newer one either, if we were concerned with photo matching and/or preserving the item's original state. Well back in the 1970s and 80s, it was a different hobby. I'm not saying that people were wearing their Willie Mays or Sandy Koufax game-used jerseys back then, but tons of jerseys from just about every other player were. I have no problem finding dozens of pictures of hobbyists from back them wearing these shirts, and will randomly post three for now.
Noted hobbyist Lou Lampson is pictured wearing his game-used Biff Pocoroba Braves jersey, as well as a guy wearing an older Angels jersey and another fellow wearing a VERY nice Philadelphia A's flannel.
I would challenge MEARS or any other authenticator to tell the difference between a Braves jersey with wear from Biff Pocoroba sitting in the dugout versus Lou Lampson sitting at a card show.

No, from one of those videos from the National, Lou told the story of trading a case of Seagram's gin for a Wilt Globetrotters durene. Anybody got the link?
The photo of Lou that you posted is unphotoshopable.

So what's a game "used" Lampson #4 sell for? Does it come with his LOA?

Re: Photos of people wearing Game-Used Jerseys
Lou the Fraud says...."Actually, it turns out that Hank Aaron wore a single digit 4 rather than a dual 4 when he hit his historic home run. The fact photographic proof exists to disprove this is irrelevant as I am Lou Lampson, the Jesus of game worn jerseys.
I wore it as well. Why? because my sweat enhances the grade I give. Surprised? Have you seen my ratings? Makes sense now huh...."
Ladies and gentlemen, it all makes sense now.
