Unique Fred Lynn BP Helmet Photo
I was just scouring eBay this evening looking at various Orioles items and ran across this picture of Fred Lynn taking BP (circa 1985) @ Comiskey Park wearing a batting helmet with the bill nearly entirely broken off.....Just thought it was unique enough to share:

Didn't Brooks Robinson wear a helmet with a altered bill? They probably don't allow such helmets anymore.

yeah, Brooks would have the bill of his helmet sawed/cut so he could see better....

I've seen a photo of Tommy Davis when he was with the Orioles sporting a small bill helmet too.
