    Andruw Jones onion ring jersey

I just read this story and couldnt help but think about how it would cool to own this jersey if it happened to be covered in some ketchup. As I get to the bottom of the article this is what it says,

"Presumably, as Late Show writer Eric Stangel joked on Twitter, so that the Yankees and Steiner Sports could sell them as "game-used" for the low, low price of $299."

Sorry, for those of you that didn't read the article, the joke is about Steiner selling gu onion rings for $299, not the jersey

I just read somewhere that Eric Stangel was voted one of the top ten people to follow on Twitter to read sports related tweets. Doesn't sounds like a joke writer to me.

Considering his weight issues, I think Jones may have been coming up with more onion rings than baseballs for quite some time.
