Do the shipping records show an 86 - 89 R161, 32" lengh and about 29.5 oz? Thanks

karamaxjoe - Boggs never ordered bats that short - 32" is way below anything he ever ordered. Jim

Whoops.......I just remeasured the bat and it's a 34" length.

During that time period - all Boggs R161 orders were promotional - C235 was really his model of choice during the 86-89 period. There would have to be some provenance or evidence to show that the R161 made it into his hands. There are no R161 orders by the Red Sox during the 1986 - 1989 period. Hope that helps. Thanks, Jim
