Need help on "Reynolds" bat
Just picked up a game used bat solely because the name on the barrel is Reynolds (my last name). . Plus, I got it for $20 and if for nothing else, it would look cool on my desk.
The bat is a LS model C300. The length is 34 inches and I'm unsure of the weight but it seems fairly light. The handle definitely has been rubbed down to be thinner. The last name Reynolds is in block letters and there is no first name. The knob is marked "Rey J". There is no uniform number indicated anywhere.
Any idea who the Reynolds could be? R.J. Reynolds? Harold Reynolds?

Re: Need help on "Reynolds" bat
Based on the "Rey J" marking, I think R.J. Reynolds is the only player that makes sense. None of the other Reynolds really fit that nickname.
Of course, this is all speculation.Brad Ausmus is the Bossmus: www.thebossmus.com

That was my guess as well. Does anyone have bat records for RJ Reynolds?
