Game worn MESH back caps?
I'm not a huge cap collector, but it would seem obvious that the 80's cheapo mesh back adjustable caps never got used in games...
But, Pete Rose is clearly wearing one on his 1987 Donruss card. Has anyone come across other GU mesh caps?

Re: Game worn MESH back caps?
They were seen periodically in the 1980s and '90s, although their use was mainly limited to spring training...I don't recall ever seeing one worn in the regular season or postseason. If anyone has, I'm all ears.

Re: Game worn MESH back caps?
The one mid-1980's one I have in my collection is from the Atlanta Braves spring training. They do look like the old cheapy caps, but the one I have is actually a little heavier duty than the old ones. It's actually manufactured by New Era and says Pro Model on the tag inside.

Yes, it has the old snap back. This is from the Braves 1985-1986 spring training.
