Gloves
Not a glove guy ( I collect ealry images and scorebooks). I came across these at my father-in-laws yesterday. Thought I'd elicit your guy's help in what should be done, if anything, to recondition them and to see if they're worth anything. In their current condition, I can't tell readily what all is written on them, etc. In photos 3 and 4, the left glove is Rawlings "T90". In photos 5 and 6, the top right is a "Hutch, Cinc. OH" glove, the bottom right is Rawlings "JG" and the bottom right all I can make out is the tag, Rawlings. Several of them have some other information on them but I'd have to work at it in their current condition to tell what they are.

These are the strangest of the group. Can't figure how the guy could field a ball with these.

Re: Gloves
Hi
If you'd like to clean them up I would suggest using Permatex Fast Orange Hand cleaner to clean the the dirt of them first and then use rub lanolin on them after that step. The catcher's mitt looks like it needs to be relaced. The gloves might have some value after cleaning them up - it depends on how stiff the leather is. The Rawlings JG is most likely a Johnny Groth model.
If you decided you want them cleaned up or you just want to sell them, drop me a message. Thanks!

Re: Gloves
Thanks Brett. I'll have to get them cleaned up and see what my father-in-law wants to do with them.
