Still want to add some stuff here and there but it's coming along nicely. I'd love to hear some thoughts. Enjoy

To say that's an impressive display would be an understatement. It must have been a lot of fun to put together. What can you tell us about the Ruth and Gehrig balls? They look like nice examples.

hey mr scotty boy......aka....5 tool......just wanted to say real nice job.....and your gonna make me put my collection up there for the guys to look at since i have never done since collecting since 1984.....i have a guy construct me the yankees white fence like the roof in a bat rack which i have my yankees bats on...it took him 4 months to do it....and its sincerely beautiful ill send you pixs........as i have mentioned the baseball cards are nice, however nutin comes close to obtaining a game used bat that your favorite players had in there hands, amazing display, swing it, friends are in awe, you can feel the magic....when you get back i recommend you to go to the natiional convention in chicago in august....its where i meet people that you can put faces with people for last 20 years. ill be set up there with 300 to 500 bats.....be safe all the best
happy collecting,

Thanks and I'm glad you like the room.
Both balls were purchased at the CSA show in VA this past March. Both the Ruth and Gehrig balls come with full letters from JSA.5TOOLPLAYER@COMCAST.NETComment

Re: Post subject: Almost completed: The ULTIMATE YANKEE ROOM: April 2011
thanks to everyone who took the time to post on here and I'm glad even the Yankee fans enjoyed it. I have more items I would like to add. My G/U bat collection is not even close to being finished as I need a hammered Cano, Mattingly, Granderson, Tex, Jeter and so on.
As far as my other rooms go. I have a room totally dedicated to the Yankees as u have seen, a Cooperstown/Pittsburgh Pirates room, and a basement that is mainly Indianapolis Colts but has walls dedicated to Josh Hamilton and Jesus Montero. Its always great to put the work in and show the finished product to other collectors. I'm glad everyone liked it.5TOOLPLAYER@COMCAST.NETComment
