gotta love his career NHL stats as well. In 277 NHL games, Boogaard, a 6"7, 265 pound winger, compiled 3 goals, 16 points and 589 PIM.

No one assumed that he was trying to kill himself, but I have been around people abusing oxycodone and they all know the risks in abusing drugs, over the counter or obtained through other means.

Wasn't The Boogie Man suffering from a concussion? I wondering if that had anything to do with his alcohol/drug problem. Sad to see either way
