My Recent Cincinnati Reds Pickups (Votto, Gomes)

Just wanted to share some recent Reds pickups of mine. I picked up this bat last night. It's the bat Joey Votto used for his game winning walk off single last friday night. It's pounded with use and is one of the first signature models available. It was an easy match with that big scrape on the front.

I also picked up a limited Gomes print, a Blonde SSK of his from the NLDS last year, and a Blonde Maxbat from this season. The two balls are a Phillips bases loaded double and Lance Berkman hit #1717 off of Travis Wood.

Ryan, are these all going to your massive ebay store? You probably have a bigger inventory then the Reds pro shop these days.

Haha no these are for my collection. I've been having a hard time lately finding stuff I've wanted from the store but this weekend definitely hurt my wallet.

Ryan... Your Reds collection is very impressive. Love the Votto bat, I gotta get me one soon. I have been a life long Reds fan & it makes me drool every time you post any new additions to your collection.

Thanks Rick! I'll be posting pictures of my collection room sometime soon. I just need to get my bats on the wall or figure out how I'll display them first. My collection is cool but I know Adam, Josh, and Jeff have some pretty sweet collections themselves.

Being a Toronto guy like Joey, I would like one day to pick up a bat or jersey of his, but know nothing about fair value/price. Could I ask what you might expect to pay for a decent gamer? Thanks! Chris

Votto's bats were selling at the Reds stadium last year for $250.00

The Votto bats are about $2 under $800 this year at the stadium if you include tax.
