Are these some of the most boring and plain Turn Back The Clock uniforms ever?

I guess the uniforms are from the 1918 season, the last time these teams met at Fenway, but boy are the plain.

The Cubs unies are so-so, but the blank fronted Red Sox jerseys are a definite turnoff.

BTW...Cubs have scored 8 in the top of the 8th to turn a 3-1 deficit into a
9-3 romp.

The Red Sox uniforms remind me of a painter's uniform, especially with the blank white hat. Very interesting throwback though, at least it is accurate for the time period even though they are very bland.
