1967 Houston Astros Flannel Jersey
Anyone have any opinion on this jersey? It says the name on front and patch have been restored. Looks ok with me but the number on back does not match the # the tagging in neck says it should be. Looks too good to be true.

Adlesh wore #27 and then #4 in 1967. He switched to #6 in 1968. No problem here...the team just changed the back number for him to continue using the jersey, either in spring training, the regular season, or both.

Thanks Dave for answering the question last night. I am the seller of the jersey and just saw it this morning.

A case where someone asking authenticity questions about a jersey on a forum worked to the seller's advantage.

Re: 1967 Houston Astros Flannel Jersey
Let me chime in here to help.
I have Johnny Edwards 1969 road jersey exactly like yours. The Houston on front is restored, the back no 7 the same. The patch is restored. The collar says 44/46 7 69, matching nob.
The tail tag is missing, though, but you can see its outline
The body is perfect on mine, but like yours, it's for real. Anyone interested in Edwards, tell me.
David, the Astros in those days must have been cheap?
