RIP: Jim Northrup
Jim Northrup, a Michigan native and a star of the 1968 World Series, died today @ age 71....
Northrup most notably played with the Tigers during his career, but ended his playing days with the Expos & Orioles.......Always a reliable signer TTM as well..

good guy.......he was my favorite Tiger when I was growing up!!
always looking for Detroit Tiger world series player bats......game used 2006 & 2012 world series items....Quintin Berry bats....also interested in Ivan Rodriguez bats...

He looked rather frail when I last saw him 3 or 4 years ago. He was scheduled to do an appearance at a high school in my area about a year and a half ago and canceled due to failing health at that time. Very sad to hear the news.
