    Gamewornuniform Auctions

Has anyone participated or planning to participate in any of the GameWornUniform Auctions? For what it's worth, here are my thoughts.

It seems to me that 90% or more of the items have a minimum bid set at, or near, the retail price of the item.

Since most, if not all the items are solely owned by the auctioneer, then how does the winner accept paying a 15% Buyer's Premium Fee. I thought Buyer's Premium Fees went to the auction company because the consignor received most of the auction price.

I am not questioning the authenticity of any of the items, I just wonder why these items aren't opening at a reasonable minimum price.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Anyone can set up their own auction page these days. I find lots of auction houses own a percentage of the items in the auction, yet they still charge a buyer's premium. As a bidder, you just have to accept it or bid elsewhere.

If opening bid prices are too high it will be obvious in the fact that a lot of items don't sell and the auction house will just be a retail site.
