COPY OF APPRAISAL LETTER (NOTARIZED COPY AVAILABLE)

    November 13, 2003

This unique collection of original Florida Marlin memorabilia dating from July 18th, 1991 to the present day including, but not limited to the following items:

KURT ABBOTT BAT - 1st MARLIN TO GO 4 H.R. IN 4 CONSECUTIVE GAMES
    BAT - 1st HIT/HR AS A MARLIN (4-5-94)
BAT - HIS 1st MAJOR LEAGUE GRAND SLAM AS A MARLIN
    BAT - HIS 1st 4/4 GAME AS A MARLIN (1994)

BRET BARBERIE BAT - 1st HIT IN MARLIN HISTORY (INAUGURAL GAME)
BAT - 1st INSIDE THE PARK HOME RUN (1994)
GLOVE - 1st DOUBLE PLAY (INAUGURAL GAME)

KEVIN BROWN A MAJOR LEAGUE NO HITTER BALL, 3 COM PARK
(FIRST MARLIN NO HITTER ON THE ROAD) (1997)

JEFF CONINE BAT - FIRST 4/4 PERFORMANCE BY A MARLIN (4-5-93)
SHOES - 1st STOLEN BASE (INAUGURAL GAME)
SHOES - 1st MARLIN MVP IN AN ALL STAR GAME (1995)

AL LEITER A MAJOR LEAGUE NO HITTER BALL, PRO PLAYER PARK
(FIRST MARLIN TO PITCH A NO HITTER AT PROPLAYER)

GARY SHEFFIELD BAT - 1st MARLIN HOME RUN - ALL STAR GAME (1993)
BAT - 1st HIT IN THE SECOND SEASON (1994)
    BAT - 1st HIT AS A MARLIN (1993)
    BAT – 1st HR AS A MARLIN (1993)

    DARRELL WHITMORE
BAT - 1st HOMERUN AS A MARLIN WITH BALL (1993)
BAT - 1st HIT AS A MARLIN WITH BALL (1993)

The collection as a whole is more valuable then the sum of the parts; due in part to the uniqueness of all the “first items of an expansion team” which has never be equaled, by any other collection, by any other team or private collector; plus the insight to amass the variety of inaugural year items, that are no longer available. The computer disk, which details more of the collection, still does not show the vastness of this collection. At this date, I value this collection at five million dollars, although it would cost much more to replace a collection of this magnitude.

Isn't the opening bid close to their current payroll?

I can't believe that the seller really thinks he is going to get anything close to that.

I have a grilled cheese sandwich with the image of Gary Sheffield. Wonder if this guy would consider a trade?

Jason, before you hit the send button, did you think maybe you could have saved our time and not have hit the Submit Reply button?

I think Eric posted the thread so maybe the potential buyer would step forward who maybe didn't see the five million dollar lot for sale.

                  Wait.... lol lol lol
