New Patches For MLB All Stars
I first noticed in the Nationals game today that Starlin Castro and Mike Quade (both heading to the ASG) had to star patches bracketing the rear MLB logo on their jerseys. I'm not sure if all teams are doing this since I didn't see them on the Yankees jerseys, but I can say that the Cubs and Dodgers are doing this. I believe, this is the first time something like this has been done.

What has Mike Quade done to earn a spot on the All-Star coaching staff?

The Reds have also done it for their 3 All Stars (Votto, Bruce and Phillips)

Same goes for the caps. All Stars' caps have two stars on the back along with the ASG side patch.
