    Unhappy HoF Colt TE dies

    John Mackey, Hall of Famer and 5-time Pro Bowl selection for the Baltimore Colts, died yesterday at age 69. No specific cause of death was announced, although Mackey was not in good health, suffering from dementia.

    Mackey played for the Colts from 1963-71 and finished up his career in 1972 with the Chargers. He was active with the NFLPA for many years after his retirement.

    The Colts left Baltimore when I was still young... but I would listento my Dad's stories about guys like Bubba Smith, Art Donovan, Johnny U,and Mackey

    Watch the video above... looks like Mackey was playing against high school kids... they just couldnt bring him down
