Edgar martinez bats with M356 and M356S

Hi, I posted this in the other discussion board and should have put it here so I'll post here also. I have seen Edgar Martinez bats with the model M356 and M356S. What does the S mean and would it be a game used bat. Thanks

The "S" means small knob. The rest of the bat is the same but the knob diameter is 1/8th smaller.
